Godzilla Interception Visit

点评：Our tour was primarily focused on the Godzilla attraction, so no info on the other places the park has. From our charter bus parking space, it was a bit of a walk to the Godzilla area, but since the weather was excellent, most didn't mind. After an orientation film explaining how Shin Godzilla ended up in the park, a majority of tour members went to get geared up for the zipline into the monster's mouth. There are height and health restrictions for using the zipline, so the rest of us opted for enjoying view from the various observations platforms near the daikaiju. We did participate in the shooting game at the base of the zipline terminus, which was an exercise in hitting as many targets as accurately as possible, while also ducking the monster's counter-attack. Following that, found a lot to enjoy about the Museum portion of the attraction, with the actual props and miniatures on display, and the various dioramas. Opted out of the photo opportunity and picked up souvenirs in the gift shop.
Didn't feel like eating anything heavy and overpriced from the on-site restaurant, so just opted for a Godzilla cream-puff. Had the outside temperature been a bit warmer, I would say it was refreshing, since the strawberries were frozen.
I had planned to visit this park solo the year before, but after reading up on the transportation options to get here, and reports from associates who ended up hiring a private local guide and renting a car, I decided to wait until a 2024 tour was put together that included charter bus transportation directly to the park, to avoid many of the problems previous reviews have mentioned on this subject.
Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable day, and I'm sure future tours will include this attraction again.
