8 days with the best guide (Amboseli, Naivasha, Maasai Mara)

点评：Two of us booked last minute for an 8 day safari to Amboseli, Naivasha/Hells Gate including climbing Mt Longonot and the Maasai Mara. We cannot recommend this company and in particular their guide / driver Karisa (Joseph) highly enough.
The booking process was smooth and from the moment of pick up Karisa was friendly and easygoing (adjusting to how much we wanted to chat), efficient but never rushed us, thoughtful about what we needed and observent about what we really enjoyed - and he went far far beyond his brief, driving long hours in hot and dusty conditions, to ensure we saw everything.
Elephants as far as the eye could see in Amboseli, hippos and giraffe on a boat and walking safari in Lake Naivasha, cycling among buffalo and swimming in hot springs in Hells Gate, hiking to the rim of Mt Longonot in the dawn and then two magnificent days in Maasai Mara where we saw absolutely everything including a full lion hunt, leopards, cheetah & more. To all planning something similar, we recommend a buff / mask for the dust and snacks for long days in the car.
We picked the budget / mid accommodation outside the parks themselves: Amboseli Eco Camp was rustic but clean and quiet, Fisherman’s Camp at Naivasha was a spectacular place to view hippos and pied kingfisher and fish eagles, and Fisi Camp at Maasai Mara looks over the park itself.
Our highest praise though is for Karisa: you will never meet a more unfailingly interesting, professional, selfless and friendly guide. He drove safely, he made us laugh, he taught us things about Kenya, he found all kinds of animals and even some off-the-beaten-path lunches - when we next come back, it’s Karisa we’ll look for. Thanks so much Gametrackers and Karisa for the safari of a lifetime.
