点评：An old cathedral built in the mid 7th century in the place where allegedly saint Gregory the Illuminator met king Tredat III.
The cathedral was destroyed around 4 centuries later probably in an earthquake but its ruins were discovered in the beginning of the 20th century, and many of the debris are still awaiting to be assembled but unlikely to reconstruct the temple, since it would probably be in a continuous threat of falling again in destruction.
Although still debated, it is thought to be a 3 floors building, cercular shape in the outside while the inside was in the shape of a greek cross (a structure with 4 apses in the 4 directions), while the debris show there were a lot of mosaic depictions.
