点评:Good Earth State Park is South Dakota's newest state park, which has taken over a National Historic Landmark, Blood Run. The site is one of the oldest long-term habitation sites for humans in the US. There was a 6000 person settlement on the river and creek banks that was an important trading center, home to Oneata people (tribes including Ponca, Ioway, Omaha, and Otoe). It is right on the outskirts of Sioux Falls and you can see Iowa from the visitor center. The trails are marked super well - we did a vista trail with overlooks of the river, then hiked down through the woods, which was nice after the hot sunny prairie, level with the river. It's a well-appointed state park which really gives you a feel for what the area was like from 1300 - 1700 before Europeans took over.
