Herring Green Activity Farm的点评
点评：Four of us visited on a rather windy and damp day in October, and were told the next bird flying event would be at 12. So, we had a walk around the site. There were a group of people handling some birds of prey so we stood and started to watch, to be told by a very rude member of staff this is a private party please leave. We then continued walking around the site, a lot of which was water logged due to the weather, many of the birds were in large wooden cages which were in various states of repair, but some birds were tethered under open fronted low wooden cages, whether this was where they permanently lived was unclear. The 12pm flying was cancelled due to the poor weather and was changed into a “hold a bird” in a barn area, but no announcement was made about this and so we only discovered the new event when it was nearly over. Overall, I was unimpressed with quality of the set up having visited many other birds of prey places around the country and will certainly not return.
