Herring Green Activity Farm的点评
点评：The staff who handle the birds are brilliant, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and care so much about the them.
The staff at the cafe and the shop are rude, couldn't really care and they treated us as though we were really bothering them. I booked an owl and afternoon tea experience for my daughter aged 9. The afternoon tea was just massive wedges of cake and a cup of tea. The cafe looked like they were in the middle of putting stock away and cleared a table for us to sit at, it wasn't very special. My child could not eat all the cake and when I asked for a box to take it away, the young lady said they weren't supposed to give us anything, but at the same time went and got 2 sandwich plastic boxes and attempted to try and stuff 2 cakes into one sandwich box, effectively squashing the cakes. My husband has to ask her if we were causing her a problem and is she wanted money for the sandwich boxes. When they were getting the ice cream, the ice cream trolley was bashing into my chair and they didn't seem to care or notice. The lady serving at the shop didn't seem to know any customer service.
The playground is a bit old, and the picnic benches that you sit at with children have long rusty nails jutting out of them. To the right of the playground is a field which seems to have rubbish or unwanted items dumped in it which is a bit of an eyesore.
It's a shame as the animal experience was very good, however the rest of it let's it all down.
