Avoid peak season and you’ll have an incredible time

点评：Right out the gate - Hï is amazing - IF (and this is a big IF) you go at the right time or the year. Most negative reviews here will be from people who either A: Don’t club, B: went during peak June/August C: wanted to get drunk.
Glitterbox is just incredible. Last year was a bit more flashy effects wise but this year we had a slightly heavier tone with Kerri Chandler over Armand VH. Both nights were insanely good and the DJ selections are top tier. I can’t comment on other nights, but we’ve seen some amazing talent like Natasha Diggs, Purple Disco Machine, Bellaire and others all in a single night which you’re just not going to see in other places outside of festivals.
It’s incredible when all the confetti explodes out of the ceiling and combined with the visuals and dancers, it’s quite mind blowing. Honestly can’t rate the visuals, rooms and spaces highly enough.
Beautiful air con blasting through the rooms, a sound system that will tear through your soul and plenty of ‘private’ spots to indulge like the wild room. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the toilets are lovely. Bouncers are also very liberal with some quite messed up people (they are a bit more strict on messed up women however and will bang on the toilet doors if someone has been in too long to make sure they’re okay).
The most contentious issue is the drink prices. They are frankly outrageous, spirits €22-25, alright fair you don’t want drunk idiots wandering about but €15 for a bottle of water or €17 for a red bull is taking the piss and they know that (and asking for tips is just hilarious) On the flip side, it does price out a lot off riff raff and the crowds are very friendly with 0 issues.
We had so much space to dance in all the rooms and hang out outside. The place was perfectly full and we could reach the front easily if the theatre and danced on the. Along area of the club room. Would not want to do this during peak season as the clubs get ridiculously full.
