Pantomime - the sound is way too loud for little ears

点评：I took my 9yo and 13yo to see the Beauty and Beast Pantomime. It seems we booked a day when all the schools go so it was busy and fairly noisy. However this noise is was fine compared to the unbearable level of noise that came when the pantomime started. The speakers were up way too loud for the audience. My son occasionally wears headphones for noise sensitivity and despite using the headphones he was still struggling. Kids were crying and some taken out with hands over their ears by teachers and carers. Even I was relieved when the set changes were happening and it was a bit quieter.
It’s a shame as the play itself was ok and there were some fun parts but we left in the interval (we endured an hour and 20 minutes of it by then). I feel sad for the actors and everyone who’s clearly worked hard but the theatre need to turn the sound down as it’s way too much!
