Hike to Sveti Ilija from Korcula town.

点评：I booked the Jadrolinija ferry return online from Korcula harbour to Orebic, 0810hrs, which was 25min walk from Aminess younique hotel. So time for breakfast at 7am. Ferry crossing is fine, they scan your ticket to board. No need for passport, not checked. On arrival turn right off dock side to minor road and walk 100 metres, then go up steps onto Tomislava street. Just follow that all way to start of trail. When you cross last road before starting on the hike, there is a bakers and Konzum supermarkets to get whatever drink and food you want with you. Also, just before hike starts there is a small car park you could use need to church. Start of hike has metal sign stating it will take 2hrs 30mins to top, If there are tree branchs left as walking poles, it is really yseful to use one and return it at bottam of trail again. It took me 3hrs with several stops. The route is forest, scree more forest and then once over plateau onto a grassed flat area you actually drop down elevation before going through more forest and a hunters stone building, biarded up but had seats and a bench to rest before final 15mins to top. A really good view and peaceful yo enjoy a rest and your snacks. You can see all the way past top end of Korcula Island at Vela Luka. Route down took 2hrs in total and I got some supplies before ferry at 1545hrs back to Korcula. Take some suncream as some sections are open and also a light jacket as colder on higher parts / rains.
