GF Afternoon Tea, Ok, but….

点评：This is the view of only one diner in our group who had the gluten free afternoon tea, I cannot comment on others views.
Ok, but:
1. Although I booked for 2.30pm and their confirmation email confirmed 2.30pm, and we got there for 2.30pm our reserved table sign stated 2.00pm so they thought we were late!?
2. Although I didn’t pre order the Prosecco version we were told we had to choose Prosecco or lemonade, and consequently we were told we couldn’t have tea or coffee until after we’d eaten??. We insisted we wanted tea and coffee with the food which we got after feeling like we had to almost plead for it. Not sure if the tea/coffee was bottomless but we never got asked if we wanted more. I had paid for tea/coffee so why couldn’t we have it when we wanted it?
3. The table was overcrowded with too many glasses, the table surface was sticky and uneven, and consequently one of the paper thin Prosecco glasses got accidentally Knocked over and broke.
4. Only got one tiny napkin each, I had to go hunting for more.
5. Good that they provided a gluten free option for me, not everywhere does.
6. GF Sandwiches and scone very good, GF cakes poor. GF Cakes seemed to be slices off a large cake rather than individual cakes. GF sausage roll was literally tasteless.
7. Stunningly expensive for the quality and quantity, i have paid for afternoon tea at 5 star hotels that cost less per person, and they provided endless tea/coffee.
8. Server, whilst very pleasant, didn’t seem to want to listen to our questions eg was there a choice of teas? Until pushed on this it seems all she was prepared to provide was English breakfast only. Once pushed we got a list of options and were able to order earl grey tea and and other options
9. As said ok, but I am unlikely to return for afternoon tea or at all. I cannot comment on views of other diners in our group.
10. I chose this place for an afternoon tea booking based on others reviews, suffice to say based on my experience I disagree with others feedback.

3. 餐桌上摆满了太多玻璃杯，桌面又黏又不平整，结果其中一个薄得像纸一样的普罗塞克酒杯不小心被碰倒，摔碎了。
4. 每人只得到一张小得可怜的餐巾纸。我不得不去再找一些。
5. 很高兴他们为我提供了无麸质选项，毕竟不是所有地方都提供这种服务。
6. 无麸质三明治和司康饼味道不错，但无麸质蛋糕则很糟糕。那些无麸质蛋糕看起来就像是从一个大蛋糕上切下来的块而已，并非独立制作的蛋糕。至于无麸质香肠卷，简直毫无味道。
7. 就质量和分量而言，价格贵得离谱。我曾在一些五星级酒店享用下午茶，人均花费比这里还低，而且还能无限续茶/咖啡。
8. 服务员虽然非常友善，但……9. 她似乎并不想听我们的问题，比如是否有多种茶可供选择？直到我们反复追问，她才勉强表示只提供英式早餐茶。经进一步询问后，我们才得到一份可选择的茶品清单，从而能够点选格雷伯爵茶及其他品种。
10. 正如所说，这里还不错，但我不太可能再来享用下午茶，甚至可能不会再光顾了。对于同行的其他食客的看法，我则无法评价。
