Go Early and You’ll Have a Magical Experience

点评：I had read the mixed reviews before my husband and I went, so we weren’t sure what to expect — but we ended up having a fantastic experience.
If you love hiking in cool weather and without crowds, the key is to arrive early — and I mean really early. We left our hotel in Porto Vecchio at 6am and got there around 7am. At that hour, there was no one around, no cars, and we had the whole place to ourselves. It was peaceful and beautiful.
The trail can seem confusing at first, but just follow the yellow markings painted on rocks and trees — they’ll guide you. One thing to note: unless you have a very active toddler or older child, I wouldn’t recommend going all the way to the waterfall with little ones. That section can get slippery, uneven, and more technical.
It took us over an hour to find the waterfall since it was our first time on this trail, but the way back was much quicker. By the time we were leaving, the crowds were definitely starting to arrive — and we were so glad we got to enjoy the tranquility before it got busy.
