Competent Crew Sailing Certification April 24

点评：On the weekend of 8th April 24, was the culmination of my 5 days of sailing instruction to achieve my Competent Crew certification. Sailing out of Suffolk Yacht Harbour in Levington, Ipswich via the great people of East Anglian Sea School.
On the Saturday, we sailed up the Orwell towards Ipswich, past Woolverstone and up to the Orwell Bridge. Later on, I was also lucky to experience a night sail along the River Orwell towards Felixstowe in very windy conditions, enjoyable but challenging.
On the Sunday, we set passage to Walton on the Naze backwaters, passing Shotley Gate, Felixstowe Docks, Harwich and over to Walton. Great weather offered us blue skies and on the return we set up a Spinnaker to gain a decent sail back to SYH Levington.
Thank you to EASS and my instructor Johnathan Conne to allow me to pass my Comp Crew course. Here's towards my Day Skipper!
