点评：I have just completed my RYA Day Skipper course with EASS and cannot praise them highly enough.
Everything is straightforward with this team from the freindly booking service to their instruction.
I was lucky enough to have Mark on the first three days who's knowledge and experience of the area is second to none. The final two days was with Luke who also has a wealth of experience and gets you to think for yourself on what you need to do.
In order to pass Day Skipper, you do need to be dedicated to doing it. It is a serious course and there is a lot to learn as ultimately you will have responsibility for the safety your crew and those around you.
I would also say that you should be at least half way through you theory shorebased course in order to take on the first half of the practical course as you need the knowldge that the practical demands.
You cant 'wing it'!
On saying that, the team at EASS made it as pleasant as it could possibly be.
The marina at Levington is fantastic and the sailing in the River Orwell and out to sea is really interesting. You have all of the situations you are likely to encounter with tidal flows, interesting passage planning and learning to sail alongside commercial shipping.
If you are thinking of doing your Day Skipper course and you are this side of the country then I would definately recommend them.
