To get to the beach, hire a long tail boat and sail through an area surrounded my mangroves until a small pier is reached. There’s a walk of about 1km which is an easy stroll through an area known by locals as the Thai savanna! Before lon* you can hear the waves pounding on the rocks and then the beach comes into view. When we visited, it was deserted and quite an incredible sight other than the rubbish washed in on the ride. Local volunteers regularly attempt to collect as much as possible but in some ways are fighting a losing battle
The sight of the sea crashing onto the rocks is really spectacular.
Take water with you as it can become very hot. Make sure camera/phone batteries are fully charged.
If you’re more adventurous, I think it’s possible to hire a kayak instead of a long tail boat.
Certainly worth visiting.
