Peaceful & Panoramic Headland Lookout

点评：We drove up to this lovely lookout point. It’s just outside of the main shops but its a bit far to walk on a hot day.
From here, you have several viewing points. From the headland, you have an elevated view down over Shelley Beach (to your right) and Baileys Beach (to your left). There are some spots where the view is a little obscured by overgrown scrub but mostly, it’s a sweeping view down the length of both beaches.
The other lookout point is on your right as you approach the headland. There are a couple of picnic tables, a small grassy patch and an extended wooden viewing platform that looks back in the other direction over the Nambucca River entrance and further, towards Scotts Head and South West Rocks.
We were there on a weekday and several other cars had pulled up also. It’s such a pretty view and such a peaceful spot that, like us, others were lingering, enjoying taking it all in.
