点评:I mean it's no surprise the number of negative reviews regarding customer service at Strike City. I had a professional meeting with the CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR, to discuss the planning of a 'corporate gathering' at the venue. To bear in mind, it is the first time meeting with her face to face, we only exchanged a few text messages and she seemed pretty nice. On the day itself, she was 20 mins late, but when she came up to me, did not even apologise for her lateness, cold facial expression, just said 'my name' and 'follow me' and straight up turned her back, before I had time to even reply. I followed her a few steps ahead and she stopped over at one of the high tables to maybe take things out of her bag (I'm not sure exactly) and I was just there standing behind her waiting, we continued all the way to the lounge area and not once did she turn back. We sat down she was on her phone, I asked her if she had a copy of the quote she sent me she said no. Honestly I was surprised, I've never experienced anything like this before from a service provider, I mean 1) there was literally no greeting, no smile, no official introduction of herself 2) it felt so unwelcoming, like she did not want to be there 3) seat the client down first and then go get your things after. My colleague came after the 'non-greeting phase' when we were already sat down in the lounge and from there her attitude changed slightly, she shook hands with him and we started discussing with her giving her advice/suggestion which was all ok. But even then she was not very approachable and amiable. Maybe it is just her personality, but for someone in reservation & customer care/service who handle clients and prospective clients on a regular basis, I think she might have to be trained in customer service to be more welcoming to clients (corporate or individuals). To be honest, I do not think, that I personally would be for another corporate gathering at this venue after this little experience.
