点评：We booked the VIP tour, which included a walk around the farm and tasting. It lasted just under 2 hours. There were seven people total in the group on this tour. The driving directions to the farm were easy to follow and we had a beautiful sunny day. We understand it can be very rainy at the farm, so we were lucky.
The owner (Mike) met us in the parking lot. The farm is small and slightly hilly. The tour started within the trees and Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. After learning about the growing process, we walked over to a covered patio for a tasting of five types of dark chocolates. We also got to taste brewed "chocolate" tea, which was very interesting. We learned the proper way to taste and evaluate the chocolates, which was sort of goofy, but fun.
Then we all got in our cars to drive to their retail store and chocolate factory (which was only around 5-7 minutes away but involved several turns). We followed another guest who claimed to know where they were going but they drove really, really fast! We were worried we were going to lose them. I'd recommend that Mike make sure everyone loads the retail store address in their GPS to make sure there isn't any stress for the drive.
Unfortunately we were just able to look in the window of the factory and none of the machines were actually on or doing anything. At the retail store we tasted a few more chocolates. We did purchase a few chocolate bars, but we didn't feel really pressured to do so.
This was an enjoyable and unique thing to do on the big island and we would recommend it to all chocolate lovers!
