点评：I had an amazing experience during a three-day hiking trip with Didier.
We started with Le Piton de la Fournaise, and it was my second time visiting the volcano, but this one felt truly special thanks to the visit to the tunnel de lave, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The immersive moment inside the tunnel, with music playing in the background, made me truly feel the rich culture of Réunion Island.
What I particularly appreciated was how Didier connects each hike to the island’s culture, through Creole expressions, music, and stories that bring Réunion to life in such an authentic way.
The second day marked the start of our ascent to Le Piton des Neiges. There were moments when I doubted I’d make it to the top, but Didier made sure everyone could go at their own pace, ensuring that no one was left behind. His patience and encouragement made all the difference.
Last but not least, I loved how he shared creative ideas for photos and videos, helping us capture memories we’ll cherish for years to come.
Thank you, Didier, for an experience of a lifetime and for sharing all the good energy that these majestic mountains of Réunion carry.
