Excellent views, impressive monument

点评：This is an impressive large obelisk set in a prominent position on a hill above Beaumaris.
There are good views, particularly across to Snowdonia and along the coast to the Great Orme.
We walked out and back from the woods above the Henllys HPB, using the walking trails through the woods to the footpath across the golf course and field. When you reach the golf course go up the fairway from the path and after about 100m look slightly left on the skyline for the large stile over the wall and you’ll see the route
The easiest way to route find is to use the maps.me app- download the wales map on Wi-Fi before you set off and you can follow the exact route (no mobile phone signal needed, it just connects to gps satellites)
Oh, and ignore the person taken in by the Tatarian conspiracy theories in an earlier review!
