Amazingly Friendly Heritage History!
Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway的点评
点评：Had an amazing time - travelled quite a distance to visit, and despite being a little apprehensive upon arrival with the not so obvious signage it was proved that a small line like this has character and many reasons to visit!
Visited on an event day - and ALL the volunteers were really friendly, inviting and knowledgeable about the site and what was happening.
Cracking value for money in my opinion - and what you spend is obviously being reinvested back into the line and facilities on site.
The cafe was fantastic value for money - and although they were very busy there wasn’t a long wait for excellent tasting food - as well as a wonderful pot of tea and a well made latte.
The cabs were interesting to look at
I thought that the remembrance garden for the pit workers was a very touching thing to do - the garden and lake area were very peaceful with plenty of benches and tables
The woodland walks were also enjoyable - plenty of information boards, as well as very well done plant identification posts.
Despite being well off the beaten track ( no pun intended) for us I would certainly visit again - talking to some of the volunteers there will be another massive leap forward with the offering available in the nearish future - so I look forward to visiting again and discovering what they have been up to!
