Nice walking town with history
Deadwood Welcome Center的点评
点评：We spent a few hours visiting as we were wirking our way north. Stop at Welcome Center to get info/map
so it’s easy to learn about the town & history. We did do a bus tour .. if you don’t have time you won’t miss much. Honestly it wasn’t worth it. You can drive to the cemetery.. everything else we saw is on main street. Lots of historical buildings still standing and in use. They have the years up along the roofs edge. A number of cool bars, restaurants & shops. Only a few blocks so easy to walk. There’s a couple of places with free parking and Visitors Center is one place. They were very helpful in giving us information on the gun fights/shoot out times. Wish we had time to stay until 4 & see the one in the street. The one at 2pm in the square was corny at best and aimed for children. They do have some shows in the theaters that are longer.
