点评:A really interesting experience for both myself and my children. Loved the talk and explanation of the distillation process, and the chance to ask questions. Smelling the ingredients was also good as they didn't all smell as you'd expect (although passing each jar around the group before moving on to the next one felt a little laboured). The place itself was extremely attractive to look at, although it's a shame no photography was allowed to inside (which seemed odd as there wasn't much to take photos of anyway) as it would have been nice as a reminder. The bottles were beautiful and the ability to have a carry out bag for people who, like me, were driving was excellent and much appreciated. For is the experience didn't take as long as listed as with me driving and being accompanied by 2 children we didn't stay for the tasting (as there wasn't really any point) but having tried both gins and the vodka when home I would REALLY recommend them, especially the Hills and Harbour; you could really taste the fern! Delicious 😋. The only negative was that there wasn't the option of getting a coffee or anything to eat there (as other distilleries have cafés in their visitor centres) but if I'd read it better first then I would have known in advance!
