No Photos, Think they are geared more for Gin tours at this point.

点评：Much like the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel, it is very much "No Photos!!!"
you are not allowed to take photos from the viewing window ... Why not??
The greeting was very pleasant indeed; the staff were cheery, bubbly and welcoming. the place is nice and modern, with some fabulous woodwork and a very charming yet modern feel. Jude was our host, and she was bright and personable ... As for the tour, well, no photos from the get-go and no mention of potential hazardous environments causing spark to prevent photos. rather it was we have a secret process. and everything is hot.. (its not as all secret; its written in law how to produce whisky and they tell you how as part of the tour!), with some great explanations of some of the process, although the site itself is a little Dis-jointed from a production point of view which does not help in the tour . There are a few Americanisms for some of the names of various parts of their process, which was strange and confusing to those who ... well, understand; the distilling process and the stills are interesting and different from shape/type to most, so I would have liked a photo. Their website has photos, so what is the issue??even asked if I could take photos from the comfort of the shop and the massive viewing windows and I was told No!! WHY???? the tasting was Braw, 3 haulfs 2 nearly whisky,, so aged spirit that isnt quite whisky yet by law and the PX 18 month old shows fantastic promise, as does the second maderia finished tasting to finish a wee dram from Avandale Distillery just up the road.
This wee distillery has promise. Although I think gin is where they may be very comfy at the moment. the spirit shows great promise for the future indeed, it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours, and we met some lovely other tourists on the way.
