点评:I visited Airea51 on 2nd August 2025 with my family. Towards the end of my session, the trampoline I was using completely gave way underneath me. Accidents can happen — but the way this situation was handled was shocking.
• No staff offered medical assistance or even checked if I was okay.
• No accident report was completed.
• Nobody apologised or took my details.
• A staff member even admitted to me that they knew the trampoline was going to break but left it in use anyway.
This is gross negligence. They knowingly let paying customers use unsafe equipment that could have caused life-changing injuries.
After the incident, I submitted a formal complaint and a legal Subject Access Request (SAR) under UK GDPR. I had to chase them repeatedly, and even then they missed their legal deadline to respond, provided almost none of the information requested, and failed to explain why they ignored both my complaint and the SAR for over 40 days.
Their dismissive responses and refusal to provide basic health & safety policies raise very serious questions about how this company operates — especially worrying for a children’s venue.
I have reported them to the ICO and relevant authorities for failing to comply with data protection law, as well as for their unsafe practices. I would strongly urge anyone considering this venue to think twice. Get yourself to airspace in wolves, at least when I've been there the staff are trained and the trampolines don't break!
