Fantastic surf school to level up on surfing!

点评：I had an incredible time taking private surf lessons with Pepe over two weeks. I've taken a bunch of one-off beginner classes in other places like Sydney and Maui and I wanted to progress further. Pepe had me riding unbroken waves by the end of our sessions.. hands-down the best teacher I’ve ever had. He breaks down technique in a way that is really clear, encouraging, and fun.
We started in the white water for the first few classes, with Pepe giving insightful feedback after each wave. He encouraged me to keep a surf journal to be more intentional about each lesson and what I was working on, which really helped me track my progress. Later, when I progressed to catching unbroken waves, he was patient and supportive, making the challenging paddle-outs feel rewarding.
These classes have given me a solid foundation, and I’m excited to put everything I learned into practice in the future. If you're thinking about learning to surf, don't hesitate to come to Nosara and surf with the Nosara CR Surf School!
