Incredible Experience with Rexis Tours & Mr. Jorge!

点评：My mother and I took three tours with Rexis Tours during our trip to Portugal in May 2025: Sintra, Cascais & Estoril, Lisbon, and Fátima, Nazaré & Óbidos. Two were private, and one we shared with a lovely couple from California. Each tour exceeded expectations, thanks entirely to our incredible guide, Jorge.
Jorge didn’t just show us Portugal, he brought it to life. He shared stories, history, and local insight. From the charm of Sintra and the grandeur of Pena Palace to the dramatic coastline of Nazaré and the lively streets of Óbidos, Jorge made each destination feel personal and memorable. He allowed us to tailor each tour to our interests, giving us plenty of time in the towns we found most compelling. I was a particular fan of Sintra and Óbidos!
During a nationwide train strike, Jorge went out of his way to help. He called train stations to check schedules for us, and when it became clear that our travel plans had fallen through, he generously offered to spend his Saturday guiding us on an impromptu day trip to Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos.
In Fátima, after he gave us time to explore on our own, a sudden rainstorm caught us by surprise. Jorge returned, soaked through, carrying umbrellas for us. That thoughtful gesture said everything about the kind of guide and person he is: prepared, generous, and genuinely kind.
And even after our tours ended, Jorge checked in with us after we left Lisbon for Porto just to make sure we arrived safely. That level of care is rare from someone you know so little of, and to me, that makes it unforgettable.
