Great location for walks. Pen Parc holiday house lacking maintenance

点评：We stayed in a National Trust house, Pen Parc, on the estate. Lovely location but our accommodation wasn't quite the standard you'd usually expect from the NT. Lacked a casserole dish to bake things in the oven, no oven cloth just tiny silicone gloves that were not big enough and the oil fired boiler failed leaving us without heating in February! There are miniscule portable heaters in each room which subsequently made us rather suspicious. We checked the guest book in the house and see that it regularly breaks down. As we are here for a three day break it was not what we wanted. The emergency engineer came out on the Sunday while we were walking so nice to come back to a warm house, however, the person did not correct the timer so in the middle of the night we were blasted with huge temperatures waking everyone up! Overall great location for walks and botanical gardens even at this time of year, however the accommodation was lacking
