Horses, swimming in a cave, a visit to the farm, lunch, and learning about Cuban agriculture

点评：Super great trip that I would highly recommend. Changa is an excellent guide who speaks Spanish slowly enough for the tourists that I could have a conversation - Cuban Spanish is super fast and clipped and hard for non-native speakers to get used to so this was much appreciated. He told us lots about the valley as we rode through and as a native of Viñales, he had a lot to share. The horses were great, calm and sure footed. Easy to ride and great to be around. The swimming int he cave was really a cool experience that you should absolute do. It is a short walk into the cave, maybe 1/4 mile (1/2 a kilometer) in the dark (bring a small flashlight if you have one but a phone works too and there is a guide with a light also). Swimsuit is recommended under your clothes or you can change there if you want - it is dark after all. Don't worry too much about a towel, you will be dry soon enough. Went from the cave for another ride to the main farm for a really solid lunch of chicken, rice and beans - tasty stuff. Then we heard about and saw a demonstration of cigar making - can't go to Cuba without that, can you. Learned about the special rum that they make in the valley and coffee too. It was all for sale to take home and we really appreciated that they wasn't a "hard sell" on the products. Then a quick ride back to town and we were off on another adventure.
If you are in Vinales, this is a really great tour of the valley and I would give it six stars if I could. Go see for yourself and you will not be disappointed.
