10-days Uganda Safari with Chimp and Gorilla habituation. Outstanding!

点评：We did a 10 day trip with encounter: Denis organized it, and Patrick was our guide. From planning to the end of the trip, experience was exceptional.
First, Denis planned our entire safari, giving us multiple price quotes and adjusting as needed. We did gorilla and chimp habituation, and left the rest of the plan as a surprise— we didn’t really know what to expect. He planned a wonderful safari that hit all the highlights. We saw the big 5, the Nile, birds, aquatic fauna, and of course, the chimps and gorillas. He and Patrick organized to pick us up from the airport and take us to the first hotel we were staying at — before the safari even begun.
Patrick was an amazing guide. We couldn’t have wished for anything more. He was flexible when we wanted to opt for more game drives over boat rides, encouraged us to leave early for better sightings, and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, culture, and politics. Every long ride from park to park was enjoyable because we had so much to talk about! He gave us the best experience we could have hoped for.
Uganda, encounter, Denis, and Patrick exceeded every expectation that we had. The lodges that they chose were comfortable, clean, and beautiful. They also had phenomenal meals with ample vegetarian options. We didn’t know that we would see all of the big five and other wildlife that you expect to see in places like the Serengeti (leopard and lion sightings, herds of elephants, beautiful scenery with giraffes and zebras, etc); we had only planned for the primates. But they put together the best highlights for us and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. We can’t wait to go back!
