菲利普美术馆的点评
点评：This was our second time visiting the Phillips Collection in 2 years; a museum that we thoroughly enjoy! Imagine my delight when seeing El Greco hanging right in front of the first salon, a cherished masterpiece that I would easily return to Spain just to experience again! Other artistic masters including Renoir and Monet were also represented in this charming museum during the times we visited. The museum wasn’t too large,nor too crowded, so this made it ideal for us as senior tourists. We visited during a weekday around 9:30 am in May. There are stairs and elevators available to reach the various salons. No water bottles are permitted in the museum so consider taking care ahead to sufficiently hydrate. There is a coat check where personal items (and your water bottles if you brought them) are stored as you first enter the ticketing lobby. There is a museum store with a variety of gift ideas for children or adults wanting souvenirs. A small cafe with outdoor dining is also available adjacent to one wing, where we enjoyed delicious cappuccinos with a pastry (& water!) towards the end of our visit. A highly recommended experience, sure to dazzle art enthusiasts and museum patrons alike.
