点评：My husband and I did a two day hike with Nipuna Knuckles Trekking Kandy. Our guide Siva and driver Sathiya conveniently picked us up from our Kandy hotel and drove us to the start of the trek. From the start, Siva was so helpful with his knowledge about the local culture, history, flora and fauna. Somehow, no matter how camouflaged, he regularly pointed out local wildlife and flora with culinary or medicinal purposes. He matched our walking pace and we never felt hurried. He also provided leech socks, and regularly sprayed our pants and shoes with leech deterrent.
We walked through ever-changing scenery, the trail leading us not only through tea plantations and rainforest but also through villages so we were able to interact with the locals, many of whom knew Siva as he too is a local.
The scenery was breathtaking throughout both days, including a magnificent waterfall we were able to bathe and relax in on day two.
The campsite was comfortable with a wood cabin with toilet and shower and the dinner was delicious: rice, vegetable curries and BBQ chicken cooked before us. They even let me watch their cooking process.
I couldn’t recommend Siva and this company more highly to travel in this gorgeous area.
