点评：Om our way home from Newark towards Mansfield. we decided to stop for lunch at Maxey's farm shop and restaurant having heard good reports of the place. the staff were excellent, friendly and efficient.
My wife had Quiche and I ordered a beefburger. The quiche was good but what a disappointment for me. It was almost high enough to climb as is the fashion these days.
However I dismantled it and started on the beefburger. What a disappointment! it was meat but that was about it. It was so bland! It wasn't warm, just minced meat and that was it. Dry, tasteless without flavour at al! I managed just some but left most of it.
The chips were overcooked, and crisp. Most of those were left as well.
Usually staff will will visit a table after food has been delivered as ask if it was all right. This didn't happen. Though they were very busy. I paid around £18.00 what a waste of money.
