Excellent wine tasting in Umbria !

点评：If you’re in Umbria and looking for a wine tasting experience typical of the region, look no further than Cantina Baldassarri . We turned up as a party of 4 without a booking ( which is preferred ) and received a warm welcome from Francesco . We didn’t get the full tour but the bottling and labelling room was in full swing and we were able to view the process up close . After ascertaining our taste Francesco took us through a delightful tasting of 5 wines one dessert wine and some fine Olive ail , all for 20 Euro a head . Francesco’s description of the wines and food pairings was wonderful to listen to . Needless to say we left with the car carrying several cases of wine which we look forward to trying again at our villa and of course back home .
Francesco thank you for your hospitality, and friendly approach to sharing your passion for your wine offering . We thoroughly enjoyed our visit . Caio
