Compared to the Lower Lakes, the Upper Lakes feel more tranquil and spacious, with a greater variety of smaller cascades and hidden corners to discover.
The wooden paths are well maintained and easy to walk, though comfortable shoes are a must, as you’ll want to take your time exploring. If you visit in the morning, you’ll enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature before the crowds arrive. The reflections of the forests in the water and the changing colors of the lakes are simply unforgettable.
