点评:I have never visited a zoo where the animals resemble those kept in cages by people who know no better. The American eagle couldn’t fly and was hopping around its cage, the two bears were traipsing the same path either on the platform or on the ground as if they were robots, the leopard was circling around on a triangular platform. Many of the cages had no animal, the train wasn’t working the water splash area for kids wasn’t working. There was no information about the individual animals, they had no names, no gender, no information about their life or how they came to be at the zoo. There was no enrichment in the cages or pens, the poor giraffe was being hand fed lettuce by small children having to bend over the fence, there was a bald twig which I assume might have had leaves once upon a time. There was no browse for most of the animals we saw. To be honest a pretty poor example of a zoo, having travelled for 90 minutes to get there, we couldn’t get out quick enough. Save your money, the zoo made us feel like they didn’t really care about the animals at all, so glad the ones in the UK, care about each and every animal, conservation of the species and do their utmost to make the animals at least a little bit happy. The animals in this zoo need to be taken better care of.
