A bit over priced- not good for kids

点评：This place is pretty good for people who are into art and history. The grounds are pretty and I took a few neat pictures there. I do think it’s a bit overpriced though. If you have small children, this is not an attraction they will enjoy. We took our 15 year old son and he was pretty bored. The main thing I didn’t like was, they make you watch a 10-15 minute video in the beginning about the history of the estate. That’s fine for some, but we didn’t need to watch a video because I already researched it prior to coming and knew the backstory so it was pretty boring to have to sit through and felt like a waste of time. Another thing I wasn’t a fan of is we did a self guided tour but every time we entered a different room in the house a guide was inside ready to give us a history lesson about each room. We were kind of in a rush and some guides just went on and on which made it hard for us to get through it quickly lies we had planned. We just wanted to go through it at our own pace and look around- we found it kind of annoying to be honest. Overall, a bit overpriced- I can’t say I’d recommend it.. Maybe only if you’re really into art and history.
