点评:This is a bit of a distance from the major Nagoya tourist sites, but quite easily accessible by subway to the Tsurumai subway station. I'm not sure it was worth a special trip, but it was enjoyable. It was a great place to eat a picnic lunch. It's large enough that on a September weekday it was not at all crowded.
It's not quite as well-groomed as many Japanese parks, but it had a very nice 'Japanese garden' section with the usual beautifully-trimmed trees, and some tranquil ponds. One unexpected bonus was hearing a Japanese amateur rock band playing in the park, watched by some very enthusiastic fans.
The rose garden area was quite large, and in season should be very lovely. When all the rose bushes are blooming, this probably would rate 4 stars rather than three. I was there in September, so not much was blooming.
This is quite an old park, with some historic fountains, etc.
