Little beach to go to swim a little in the river. Sand dunes are cool if you rent a buggy.

点评：Cute little beach I brought my kids to. We were staying in the Idaho side of the Tetons and didn’t feel like driving over the pass that day so we decided to go here. Keep in mind the sand dunes and the little beach are not next to each other , they’re about 2 miles away. Spent most of the time at the beach area. Definitely crowded with locals, there was a bridge the local teens were all jumping off so my kids did it too. That was fun. Spent about an hour or so there and we were done. Looked like the locals go there and spend the day. It’s worth mentioning this drive through restaurant called Big J’s in the very small town (3 blocks max), you can’t miss it. Happened to be the best burger of the whole trip. And the food was so cheap! I was astonished after paying for food in Jackson Hole. We ended up driving to the sand dunes to see them but didn’t really get out of the car. It looked like
There was a campground there. Worth going if you’re going to rent a dune buggy. I would say it’s worth the trip to Saint Anthony’s if you have time and want to explore the Idaho side. Gorgeous view of the Tetons on the way back to the airbnb in Alta.
