Lindores 5 star visit by train and bus. Definitely order a platter.
Lindores Abbey Distillery的点评
点评：Can't fault the visit to Lindores.
We used public transport to get there so we could both drink, and we took our dog as the distillery is dog friendly.
The staff on arrival were friendly and knowledgeable and the actual tour was great. Our guide 'Dave' was fantastic, he gave us a detailed and interesting history of the Abbey and had great knowledge of the distilling process.
Things to note--the distillery isn't in operation at weekends so you aren't getting in the way of the workers, but it doesn't seem to be a problem if you visit in the week, and most importantly we booked the vegetarian (cheese) platter for after are visit-- 1. This was massive and very very nice, lovely to have with a few drams. You have to pre book the platters and this is highly recommended, whilst we ate ours we have jealous looks from other visitors who wanted to order their own.
So, use the bus from Perth if you can, and definitely order a platter.
