Seymour Visitor Information Centre的点评
点评：The original part of old Seymour Court House was built in 1864 and was added to in 1885-86 and 1916. During the First World War more additions and repairs were carried out on the building as well as some alterations. The Court House was used up until the new and current building was completed in 1973 in nearby Tallarook Street.
The Old Seymour Court House is now on the National Trust register of important buildings, and houses various committee groups. Part of it as now open as the Visitor Information Centre. It appears to be Queen Anne style.
So once you get past the beautiful building and step inside, you will find a small area for visitor information. The ladies inside are really helpful. I picked up a book inside that was not for sale, it fascinated me. The ladies looked it up and said I could get an E-book version online. However, when I arrived home I did some research online and have since managed to procure a signed copy by the author. He was quite happy that I reached out to purchase a copy.
I did leave here with several brochures that I have scattered all over my kitchen table, they will give me incentive to continue to explore the region. :)
