Exceeded my expectations

点评：If I could give 100 stars I would. We booked Nalaka as a ‘driver’ for the 18 days we were travelling around the south of Sri Lanka.
My expectations were, that he would literally take us from place to place (hotel to hotel) and that was it. The price came through and I thought ‘ah that’s a decent price’.
From the minute we meet Nalaka, he exceeded these expectations to another level. He isn’t and will never be just a ‘driver’. As you can imagine 18 days with a person in a car, spending hours together can be intense, but it wasn’t! Nalaka created a completely out of this world experience for the duration of our trip.
He took us literally everywhere and anywhere. Showing us the heritage, the culture, basically the stuff an online review would never be able to.
He literally is a Sri Lanka legend! His knowledge, patience, kindness are also what was magical about our trip.
You want to see elephants, Nalaka knows where, You want authentic food, you’ve got it. The ultimate massage, guess what? Nalaka will take you! From fruit markets, jungles, mountain, tea plantations, to Temples. We experienced it all.
He even looked after me after a nasty fall, taking me to the best hospital around. He still checks up on me since returning to England.
If you are looking for a trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable guide, Nalaka is your man!
PS I am the fussiest customer around, ask my friend Gail!!! So if im raving and recommending something, it means it was outstanding, and this is Nalaka!
