Parking for 30 minutes cost us an additional £9.40

点评：Be very aware of the car parking charges. We arrived after 17.15 and finally left at 17.48 having had a shock about the car parking charges. Unfortunately we had already visited Lulworth Castle at 2 pm and paid the £3.10 fee for car parking there and got a receipt. But because we decided to walk to the cove to take a photo for old times' sake that actually cost us an addition £9.40. Yes for about 30 minutes parking instead of £3.10 which was frankly enough! So you need to buy a £20 or £12 ticket at the first venue in case you on the spur of the moment visit hastily a second tourist place in Lulworth opperated by NSGL. Another couple got caught at exactly the same time as us who were also expecting the receipt from the Castle to be valid and not set against a second inflated charge! But no, the first visit counts, towards the second. I am so surprised this is legal - in spite of vague directions on signs which I did not see invalidates the first receipt for parking and adds on the travelling time to the second venue, unless you are well organised to plan your day and decide to pay for venues at the end of the day. Thankfully we had only been in Lulworth for 4 hours. Another 12 minutes and I dread to think what we would have been charged at Lulworth Cove. If the other people who feel they might have been ripped off too, you might like to contact NSGL whose office is GL1 5SR or Popla who deal appeals at WA4 9RL. The view frankly was not worth it! Other bays in Dorset are available!
