点评：Our family of 5 adults toured Princeville Botanical Gardens this week. It is hidden on a side road with little signage, making it private. We didn’t know what to expect from a 3 hour garden tour, but were happily surprised. The time went so quickly as we followed our guide and learned about gorgeous plants, trees, flowers and fruits on all sides . We asked our guide whether she was a botanist, as her knowlege about the plants was so broad. ( She was not.) we stopped at several places to sample plant and fruit flavors and had a 45 minute break for a talk on the growing and production of fine chocolate, with comparison tastings. The 2 guides, Lauren and Zoe, had deep insights into the garden and the chocolate
Process. The 3 hours flew by, followed by a brief stop at a small and low key gift shop for those interested- no pressure. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit, feeling we had found Eden. I would recommend the garden tour for couples, families with school- age children and anyone with an interest in plants and the wild beauty of the islands.
