点评：I was finishing a four week Leave period and making my way back home... this was the last town I stopped at before deciding to make no further stops on the road trip. It had been a big few weeks and I had been in England, Scotland and done a road trip to Broken Hill. I adore exploring what country towns have to offer... and Wycheproof showed me that I had been missing some of the local sites.
Often we drive through a town feeling we know something about it, but there is always something behind what we see driving through. I had even eaten in Wycheproof in the past but I never knew that it had a magnificent lookout... nor this fabulous park with a war memorial.
The park has everything you will need for a break- historical points of interest, information boards, war memorial, C.W.A memorial, toilets, undercoverBBQs, children's playground, shady trees, expanses of lawn, undercover picnic tables, bench seats, gardens.... AND my favourite... a warning sign as you are entering to be wary of the magpies.
I really enjoyed my break from driving here.
