Disappointing experience. Friendly guide.

点评：I was picked up from my hotel to dive near Nosy Ve. I was the only guest. I went straight on the boat.
There had been high winds the previous evening. There was still quite a swell. I got my wet suit on in the boat. I had not checked my kit despite asking to do so. The first time I checked it was at the site. (It was all fine) On the way, David asked me to sign the waver, but I said I couldn’t read it without being ill.
Although my wet suit was worn, the dive kit looked in good condition.
At the site, called Madras, it was clear that the sea was stirred up. After a weight check, we descended. The visibility was poor and there was a lot of side to side swell. David seemed to fin quickly and it was hard to stop to look at the lovely coral and look for any creatures and fish. At no point did he point anything out to me of interest. Perhaps there wasn’t anything!!
I did manage to catch him up once when he turned his torch on to look for something. I asked him to slow down which he did.
I had booked a second dive but as conditions were so poor, David called it.
No one can help poor visibility or conditions, but I felt David could have tried to dive at my pace since I was the only diver and show off the site a bit. My experience was disappointing and certainly different to many others with this company.
