Booking: I made my reservation online twelve days in advance and paid the extra Bht25, still that was a cheap ticket for a two hour coach ride, however after the payment page there was a brief confirmation which was not saveable, it then evaporated right before my eyes. I didn’t see a confirmation email and no way on the website to recover the booking, so I emailed the contact address and within 24 hours a pretty girl sent me a pdf attachment of my booking which I quickly saved to my PC and my phone, days later I discovered the confirmation in my junk mail folder.
Check in and Departure: I had noticed in some reviews that errant charges had been applied for baggage so I read the T&Cs and it is clearly stated that one check in bag under 20Kg is free, so if you are over 20Kg or have more than one check in bag there are charges, there are also charges for oversize luggage as well if your case measures more than 70cm x 50cm. Some misunderstanding may have occurred with different languages, I never experienced any dramas over luggage, the loader asked me what weight is my suitcase and he accepted 16.8Kg.
The Journey: I suspected that we might not depart on time and so we did by just 7 minutes, possibly due to passengers booked on a later service being allocated empty seats on our coach. Anyway we soon got onto the main highway cruising down one of the middle lanes of a four lane highway, we got there in under two hours, easy-peasy for me. The coaches are old but comfortable enough for this route, I didn’t use the on board toilet.
