点评：Lots of animals, but there's one big issue here no one talks about.
Mara North Conservancy claims it's a wilderness, but it's far from it. Cows come through regularly to eat all the natural grass that sticks up. The entire lower layer of the ecosystem is gone. It's deeply unnatural. It's just a low-level covering of a few inches of green remaining.
The landscape is scarred in most places and even moonlike in some. The result of the lower layer of vegetation being removed means all that wildlife that lives in the grassland is gone and all that grass for food is gone.
There's no long grass for the elephants to eat so they kill most acacia trees. Rip them down. There are hardly any healthy acacia trees. Very few. Lots and lots of stumps and dead black hulks. Everywhere.
Granted there are no crowds, but I was shocked to discover all the lower grass is gone. I did extensive research and this is never talked about. In some or serveral places it's like a game drive on a golf course.
People should be told that this is far from wild. It was truly shocking coming here directly from the Masaai Mara National Reserve.
