A lovely little farm

点评：Was bought the Piggy Pet & Play as a gift for me and my partner, and it didn’t disappoint.
We booked for mid week to try and avoid families and schools, and ended up being the only ones on the farm, so we had full roam of the pens. We went with no expectations of seeing piglets, knowing that they’re only bred certain times of the year, but we were pleasantly surprised to see quite a few.
We went through health & safety procedures and then were introduced to all the animals. They’re well looked after, and pigs are on rotation so they don’t get overwhelmed with constant visitors, which is very thoughtful. As a pig lover, I didn’t care what size or age pigs I got to see, but there was a whole range, which was even better. Being 27°, a lot of them were sleepy and a bit lethargic, but still up for some fuss and grooming, which was great! The goats were very entertaining to be with too.
They have a lovely little gift shop with stuffed toys, jewellery, mugs etc, and the opportunity to adopt some of them. Unfortunately there was nobody manning the shop, and we waited for about 10 mins but nobody came. We travelled over 2 hours to get there so we couldn’t stay any longer, so had to leave the adoption. However, we did choose the last slot of the day, and I appreciate they’re probably cleaning the pens and doing routine checks, so we weren’t that bothered. If there’s a way to purchase online, I’d be prepared to go that way, as there were 2 little ones that really took to me.
All in all, it’s a lovely experience for animal & pig lovers, but would recommend properly looking through the website and what they offer before going, to avoid disappointment.

他们有一个可爱的小礼品店，里面有毛绒玩具、珠宝、马克杯等等，还可以领养其中一些。可惜店里没人，我们等了大概10分钟也没人来。我们花了两个多小时才到那里，所以没法再待下去，只好离开了领养处。不过，我们选的是当天的最后一个时段，我知道他们可能在清理围栏并进行例行检查，所以我们就没那么在意了。如果可以线上购买，我准备去，因为那里有两只小家伙特别喜欢我。
总而言之，对于动物和猪爱好者来说，这是一次很棒的体验，但建议去之前仔细浏览一下网站和他们提供的商品，以免失望。
