点评：We recently visited Dino Falls Golf to break up the half-term holidays, and it was the perfect way to burn off some energy. We’d spotted the massive dinosaurs from the motorway while driving past the Trafford Centre before, so we knew we had to give it a go. It’s a unique blend of prehistoric fun and mini-golf excitement that works for families, friends, and golf enthusiasts alike.
We booked online and paid £32 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). For a premium attraction in Manchester, this felt like great value. Even though there was a fair bit of building work happening on-site at the Trafford Golf Centre when we arrived, it didn’t impact the Dino Falls area at all. Staff at the reception were very helpful, and we were out on the course in no time.
The scale of this place is impressive! It’s a 36-hole complex split into two distinct adventures, the Rapids Course: Features winding rivers and cascading waterfalls and the Volcano Course: Features a 6-metre erupting volcano that you actually play inside.
Our boys chose the Volcano Course, and the attention to detail was fantastic. We were surrounded by massive, realistic dinosaurs from start to finish. The holes are cleverly designed, fun for the kids and challenging enough to keep the adults competitive.
It wasn't very busy during our visit so we took our time and it took us about an hour to complete the 18 holes, which was the perfect duration. We timed it perfectly too as the heavens opened just as we got back to the car!
We had such a laugh the whole way around, It’s a well-designed, engaging day out for both little dino fans and older kids who love a bit of competition.
Cooke's Top Tip: If you have the energy, you can play the second course for half price if you do both on the same day!
