Ramea - Grey River - Burgeo Ferry的点评
点评：The usual ferry to Francois was out of service for maintenance on the day we planned to go but we were able to get another ferry, the Sound of Islay. Apparently this is an unusual situation. We were able to to get the usual ferry, Marine Voyager, on our trip back to Burgeo a couple of days later. The views of the southwest coast are amazing (if not shrouded in fog) and it is certainly worth a trip to the outport communities. We stopped in Ramea and Grey River on our way to Francois. I didn't see any water or coffee available on either ferry so make sure you bring something to drink and perhaps some light snacks. Also, there were some pretty noticeable swells (especially on the way to Ramea) so if you get seasick at all, plan to take some gravol an hour or so before you board and bring a bit more for the trip. We forgot ours and were very grateful to get some from some fellow passengers! There is room for all the luggage you need to bring and in all, even with the issues with the ferry, it's well worth a trip to Francois!
